The VRD series vacuum pumps can be used as the main pump of medium and low vacuum systems, and can also be used as the backing pump for medium-high and ultra-high vacuum systems, such as Roots pumps, diffusion pumps and molecular pumps.
Both single-stage and dual-stage rotary vane vacuum pumps are forms of oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps.
Single-stage vacuum pumps feature a single-stage compression structure: the gas only passes through one rotary vane for pumping, while dual-stage vacuum pump adopts a dual-stage compression structure: the gas first passes through the low-pressure rotary vane for pumping, and then flows into the high-pressure rotary vane for re-pumping, thus achieving a higher vacuum degree. As the gas is compressed by the dual-stage rotary vane, this type of pump is more suitable for applications with higher vacuum requirements.
The dual-stage vacuum pump features a more complex one-piece structure design, with lighter volume and weight under the same pumping performance, which provides a higher pumping performance and higher vacuum degree compared with single-stage vacuum pumps; as a result, the product cost is also higher. Single-stage vacuum pumps are suitable for occasions with lower vacuum and high pumping speed requirements. The VSV Series Single-Stage Vacuum can provide pumping speeds up to 300m³/h, which is more suitable for use as the backing pump on a Roots pump, screw pump, or similar, in order to provide an ultra-high vacuum environment.
