On April 23, 2021, the first plenary meeting of the 9th Vacuum Metallurgy and Vacuum Engineering Special Committee of the Chinese Vacuum Society was successfully held at Taizhou Jiaojiang Xiangyi Hotel. Organized by the Vacuum Metallurgy Professional Committee of the Chinese Vacuum Society, jointly sponsored by the Vacuum Engineering Professional Committee, and co-hosted by Northeastern University, Taizhou University, Zhejiang Vacuum Society, and other institutions, the meeting gathered leading experts and industry professionals.
During the opening ceremony, Professor Zhao Xiaoming, Vice President of Taizhou University; Zhao Dongfu, Vice Chairman of Taizhou Science and Technology Association; Zhao Shen, Director of Jiaojiang District Economic and Information Bureau; Professor Ba Dechun; and Mr. Jiang Yourong delivered speeches. Mr. Jiang emphasized:
“As China enters a new era of building an innovative nation, the Chinese Vacuum Society and vacuum technology professionals face unprecedented opportunities. We must uphold a sense of mission, implement innovation-driven strategies, and lead in technological advancement.”
Mr. Jiang Yourong also delivered a keynote speech titled ‘Global Development of Vacuum Obtaining Equipment,’ highlighting VALUE’s global strategy: Through 25 years of innovation and high-quality manufacturing, VALUE has established brand channels in 108 countries. We will continue serving global customers with innovative solutions and superior quality.’
The conference concluded by appointing Professor Ba Dechun as an advisory member and selecting industry experts for the special committee, reinforcing collaboration between academia and industry.
